New interview up on WCNC-Charlotte this AM, here's the link to the video. I was asked whether a student or parent could require a teacher to answer questions about their vaccination status (Answer: No). I was also asked whether a school board could condition a teacher's employment or classroom attendance on vaccination status (Answer: Yes, so long as the board passes a regulation or rule to that effect). There are 2 old US Supreme Court cases, Jacobson (1905) and Zucht (1922), smallpox situations, where the court ruled the state can require proof of vaccination in a school setting. Stay safe out there!
